A little more about me...

On a freelance basis, I write and report stories on subjects ranging from New York City politics to the climate crisis to sustainable fashion. For clients, I conduct research, ghostwrite and edit manuscripts. I also write literary criticism, fiction and creative nonfiction, and am currently serving as Assistant Speechwriter to New York Governor Kathy Hochul.

Originally from Northampton, Massachusetts, I studied English literature and music at Barnard College of Columbia University, where I received the 2020 Stains-Berle Memorial Prize for my thesis Detectives, Dead Women and Prose Poetry.
